Problem:
A leading telecommunication company faced significant challenges in their system and business
processes. Issues included gaps in CWIP and expense account generation, discrepancies in
project balances, mismatched customer advances and sub-ledgers, poorly configured Oracle
Project Management, major differences in inventory and customer advance, and sub-ledger to
general ledger reconciliation problems.
Impact:
These challenges resulted in inefficient financial operations, inaccurate financial
reporting, and significant time and effort spent on manual reconciliation and error
correction. The lack of effective system integration and configuration hindered overall
productivity and financial control.
Solution:
QCSTech developed custom workflows to meet specific account generation requirements and
created custom reports for business reporting. We provided workaround solutions for customer
advance scenarios, re-implemented the Project module, completed missing setups in the AR
module, and conducted user training to ensure smooth adoption of the new processes.
